The work A rose for Emily is part of the photographic project The Wild Palms which concerns the object meant as a threshold. Complex object, the book, the subject of the work, engages a deep relationship, mysterious (and still view) with the language that bears. The photograph, in cognitive research, intensifies and multiplies through the enigma of view, the concept of possibility. Photography and writing meet without meeting in a threshold that opens (in a fold that hides) in a image that becomes writing, in a writing that becomes image. The work A rose for Emily is a contact, a photograph without a camera.
