Deframing Light

In the video animation ‘Deframing Light', I embark on an associative trip through various levels using photography and cinematic means.
Photographically perceived pieces of reality are heavily edited and put together in a way that produces an absurd narrative. (Visual) causalities are broken and new ones emerge momentarily. Familiar categories are deciphered towards the Undefined - Silent screams reach out of the video, broken reality seems to need a visual break.
The title works in two ways: the first one is the light, which in its peculiar orchestration acts in a deframing way, pulling apart seemingly inseparable
things and putting together others. Secondly this light itself (in the photographic body) is uncaged by the film's design: the light which produces the photograph is detached from itself.
