ECO G-BLOCK, Porta di accesso al cambiamento

This work dedicated to ecology is part of the G-BLOCK project.
I decided to tackle the ecology topic by giving the work a twofold significance. The first idea conveyed by the work is that the earth is dying, and the symbolic representation of the death of the 4 elements comprising it serves as a direct mean of sensibilization to the observer. The second idea is one of change, of understanding that the possibility of change exists because nature is still alive. Understand and act!
The G-BLOCK project follows the author's need to communicate directly with the public making them part of the artwork.
Every G-BLOCK is made in 100 copies (140 x 100 cm), each of them cut into 100 parts, for a total of 10,000 collectible pieces. The public get in touch with the artwork and the artist during the performances in which almost 8,000 pieces are given away free. The remaining 20 completed copies, that are two thousand pieces, are re-invented by the artist as the work presented to the Prize.
