White box

White box is a performance of 24 hours inside a room. I sat in front to a window, for all the time I stand still, looking outside. I shoot myself from the back, the shoot is fixed, the light that on catch sign outside is the only thing that makes to perceive the flow of the time: night, dawn, day, sunset, night...
The space is minimal: small and white room, where there aren't nails to the walls to hang memories, nothing must be inside if not the time, that passes.
A woman stays there, immovable, leaned out to a window waiting that something happens, waiting, in the time of an immobility without end, the moment...

In the installation I reconstruct the same ambient of the performance. The window, instead of opening on the sky, shows the video shoted during the performance. The 24 hours of the action are accelerated in a video of 24 mins in loop, the days follow one after the other without interruptions; the time becomes endless.
The chair is empty in front of the window. The spectator can sit into my place to see the video, and waiting for something happens, while the time goes by.
A timecode in the bottom marks the flow of the real time that passes.
