The work 'Self Portrait With Google Glass', explores the ability of digital imaging to enable the individual to create alternate realities and social constructs. Google Glass is both an object of technological advancement as well as one of social division, as at this current time only those who google deem fit are allowed to partake in using the product. Using DIY aesthetics the individual has been given access to a makeshift google glass and this has been solidified inside the cameras lens.
