STAR Dean Martin

Dean Martin was a native of Italian Montesilvano (in the province of Pescara), while his mother, Angela Barra, was born in America to parents of Abruzzo. To have a better chance to affirm their career Dino Paul Crocetti legally changed his name in a more American friendly (the singer chose the name "Martin" because anglofonizzata version of the surname of the Italian tenor, Nino Martini).
