Egon Schiele's Birth house, 1890 - Tulln, Lower-Austria (2)

Egon Schiele's Birth house has always belonged to the Austrian Railways and the apartment is dedicated to the residing station master. Schiele's father was station master when Egon was born until his son's 10th birthday. In 1904 the Schiele family had to leave the apartment, so no original interiors remained. In the meantime (in 2013) some rooms have been dedicated to Schiele and are now decorated with "mock" furniture and objects from the era.
