La forma dell'uomo (The form of Man)

"The form of man" stems from the platonic concept of "Form", an idea that descends into reality through multiple materializations. The aim of this project was to go back to the original idea of the human body through the real-time overlapping of different bodies.

This was achieved during a photographic performance that involved 50 persons who took part to a full body photo shoot during the first night of Antwork 2012 (Spazio Gerra, Reggio Emilia)

Everytime a portrait was taken, it was projected in real time over the previous, creating a generic human form over the course of the evening. The final image was then printed in life-size and affixed to the same white wall where people posed.
