DIVINE CRACKS
YOU FEIGN TO BE FORM AND STEAL FORMS
BREAKING POINT
BLINDING LIGHT THAT TAKES VISION
EVERYTHING FADES OUT
THEN THE LIGHT COMES BACK"
Pallade Atena, by Anita Cherubina Bianchi
The "DIVINE CRACKS" project represents the idealization of feminine essence as the sole source of creative rebirth.
The print's strong contrast together with the detail of the framing generate an abstraction of the human body, almost as if it was the marble statue of a classical divinity.
The erotic tension is expressed by a crack in the white idyll (inspired by Lucio Fontana's revolutionary gesture), the anatomic detail only subtly revealed within, breaking all certainties of the male universe with a slight discomfort.
The photographic medium reminds us that everything's real, thus attainable.
