As a viaticum to other worlds, the mask has always been, over the centuries, a powerful symbol. It transmutes, suspending it, the identity of who is wearing it; it transmutes the viewer staring at it. But which masks for the present time? And which references we project today on them? Trying to avoid ethnicisms this mask - part of a wider project - offer itself as an open field to personal suggestions and visual references of the contemporary observer.

DeepThrough is a photographic and textile project. The masks are made by the artist with different techniques: crochet, fabrics and ropes.
