Reality is determined by the awareness of our consciousness that is developed through our perception. It’s quality depends on our ability to capture and read every sign through our senses, emotions, logic and even intuition. How many of these channels do we use in general? Each individual has it’s own way of interpreting reality and experiencing it. Our brain scans images every instant. When it omits the details that personalize, it enters our brain out of focus veiling our understanding. Hence, an encounter with an unknown leaves us with mere sensations, vague impressions that linger in our memory. The lesser the recognition, the larger the space for mystery, misperception and ambiguity. The view of the unfamiliar is generally unfocused.
