Vague Illusions

The series, 'Vague Illusions', is an improvised performance piece/photographic series depicting my battle with depression. Feeling withdrawn and uninspired, I had barely touched my camera in months. The series was taken around 2am after being woken by storm.
It was an attempt to translate my thoughts in to something that could be seen and then hopefully understood, to visually capture the lonely, confused monster within and to find that part of me of which I could still identify with. The series ends with a sign of hope, walking through the door towards a perhaps brighter future.
