This painting is part of the project hbrido ( http://hbrido.blogspot.com/) a blog-art/painting project dealing with the idea of the artist and his environment. In this project i try to demythologize the "idea" of the artist using what surrounds him/her as subject matter. This particular piece is from a new series called recyclables where i "recycle" paintings i do not like and paint on them but leaving the painting underneath visible so the recycle process is obvious. With this action i want to make evident the failure involved in the creation process of the artist which is something rarely seen in the final art work.
