ACME

It’s a place not place what I represent in this triptych, where the real space, symbolized by the natural landscape, is a pretextual context to express an era of the society in which we live.

The Earth floats lightly in the air like a soap bubble carried by the wind and makes an imaginary journey through our times.

"Aurea Aetas", from the Latin "Golden Age" is the work within the triptych which symbolizes hope, the realization of an era in which dysregulation leaves space to balance and harmony between people . The world is floating in the air undisturbed in this atmosphere of legendary prosperity.

"Acme", from the greek "peak", is the emblematic work in the triptych, it shows the fragility of the world and of humankind constantly changing. They float blown by the case making an unpredictable route in this age of dysregulation, where the obsession to survive the threats of the present, symbolized by the sharp peaks that dominate the scene, prevents the vision of a future.

"Nascent state", instead, represents the sprouting of our society and of humankind, which is closely linked to the sociological concept according to which this experience can only come from a collective historical process in continuous evolution that produces the movement, which is a new force created by a group of people united by common hopes.

The triptych is printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl 285 g/m2 – size 30x45cm.
