Nature is, nowadays, landscape. A place where man has left his trace, a trace that doesn’t want, and must not, be ignored. Within Paesaggi, natural and artificial meet and collide leading to unexpected endings, children of a new aestetics. No regrets for a uncontaminated past, in the artist’s gaze, but looking for beauty also in the sharp proximity between objects made and discarded by man and silent manifestations of nature.

Composizioni are contemporary variations on the theme of still life, but in this case there is nothing inanimate. Plastic, iron, rubber: they live off contact with air, light and atmospheric agents and they get rusty, dirty and consumed. Time, with its violent activity, acts on common objects of the daily life making them interesting to man who manages to glimpse their mysterious meanings.
