Tetraktys

The Pythagorean triangle consists of the graphic sum of the first four numbers (tetra in Greek): from vertex to base they are 1+2+3+4=10, here pictured on the dice. Each of these recalls an element of nature, thus 10 synthesizes the whole that cancels each singularity. The grace of a peacock’s feather cyclically becomes dust inside the hourglass of Time. Life infinitely renews itself and the dice, rolling on the subtle line in between necessity and contingency, is the game played by everything.
