My education at the Academy of fine arts has instilled in me an extreme attention to the LIGHT and how its energy interacts with matter.
It has a key role in all my work, drawing, photography and scenography.
Influence the choice of paper, a support that I love and prefer.
The paper is "alive" and as such is transformed, and is subject to the ravages of time.
In my drawings empty and light come together, creating white space on the paper.
The Pencil drawing has a fundamental role in my artistic activity.
black and white tones and all shades contained in the tract, represent a gradual transformation. Shadows and LIGHTS are populated by faces and busts of classical sculpture, elegant female portraits crystallized in an eternal pose, perfect artwork, but not alive!
Motionless figures in my mind, then reconstructed on paper in a different space-time, bringing the SOUL highlighted by the human elements such as EYES, which talk about feelings and hidden fears, or elegant HATS, bring us back in a closest time, always keeping elegance of the figures of the past.
