The works used to show "humanity" taking conscience of its condition: from a static skeleton to a moving one the observer is bound to think about the initial ignorance and vanity turning into anxiety and impotence referring to the greatness of the universe. Human being is then just a puppet in relation to the majesty of time and Panta Rei.
