Donguli Rock
The piece comprises of a rock-like weight of approx 80kg suspended above the ground. This is tied from the top of a steel rod of variable height leaning into the space and anchored to the ground from two points with a dynamic climbing rope. This results in a tensile support of three lines bearing the large suspended weight.
The counterpart to this element is a repetition of individually formed minute chalk nodes (of a potential 3,000) that span a possible trajectory of the weights implicated descent.
