From the Genesis, here’s a path to go back through all those stories that have always been told in our life. It looks like as if a person’s life was written at the moment he or she starts to live on Earth. How many times we heard the tale of that woman who, with a simple choice that someone else above her judged wrong, has been forced to give birth to children with pain. At her side, a coward and useless man who followed her in that deed, permanently writing his own condemn, through struggles and submissions. The entire mankind is therefore doomed to eternal suffering, generation after generation. Humanity is still chained in a circle, without any escape. Three theatrical actions that alternate during the opera, between the two condemns of mankind (the Adam’s one and the Eve’s one), ending with a liberation epilogue. The music is based upon the five elements of the Chinese tradition: water, wood, fire, earth, metal. The double-bass line is obtained from the spectral analysis of the five elements. Two video sequences evoke some symbolic reference to the watchers.
