specularly reflective surface, "surrounded" by a wreath of leaves that acts as a delimiter
event and to all of the physical renderer.
In the dialogical dimension is consumed
the timelessness of a relationship in the making.
IDENTITY REFLECTIONS: VIRTUALITY OF THE EXISTING
We are all aware of the myth of Narcissus, who by obsessively contemplating his own image reflected on a mirror of water - image of which he was madly in love - ended up rushing in! The "virtual", then, that since the days of myth-making, takes often prevails over the real to the point of , destructure it.
With, through, and "inside" the mirror you admire (in fact mirrors the corresponding English term is), there is "refracted", one "plays" (note the similarity, almost "play" with the voice German spiel), you get lost as in a "cave"- the cave, in fact, seen as a big speculum erected in the same substructure of the homonymous "fable" Platonic.
The fact is that if we go even further back in time we come across the Indo-European root * SPAC-from which the above lemmas as specus ("the hole through which one can explore what, however, does not like the view from the entrance to safeguard ") and, while also suspicio (you are not, in reality, almost never caught from the" suspect "- as we shall see later - that the mirror we can" fool "!) and light (the observer who "betrays"), spice (the precious singularity to aim and, thereby, to appetire) and species (the appearance or the appearance as an external figure who "sees").
How much, how many stories can "generate" a "mirror"! Emblematic is, again, about the considerations above, the restless and reiterating question of the stepmother of Snow White, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of the Realm?" (And we know well that "opportunistic" response give the oval silver nitrate!). And what about the "mirror-portrait" of Dorian Gray? The Wildean metaphor is clear: the mirroring effigy could crystallize (trans) a physical dimension of time with beauty, underlying, making a reality that, in the end, it becomes intolerable: a demonic rock and, in fact, narcissistic, that can have no other outcome that the auto da fe of the true (?) lived.
The seductive mirror in Orichalcum Cleopatra; the destructive uStore mirror of Archimedes: the legend becomes history, history that becomes legend ... And it is precisely on the basis of this concept, for example, that even today many Aboriginal tribes do not agree to be photographed, believing that a genuine theft of their "essence" spiritual. But the mirror, a simple mirror - as well as the super-technological telescope "Hubble" - also has its epistemic function. In fact, both tools we "tell" our past: the half-space observation that billions of years ago - assuming the Einstein theory of space-time - when they formed the earliest, and now death, Galaxies; the mirror to some fraction of nano-seconds before the same reflection, being the mirror image postponed object "older" than the moment in which it is perceived by the subject looking!
Dimensions fascinating, then, that converge here in a survey diverse and experienced from multiple points of view and with different expressive possibilities. These testify, in fact, as the analysis of embodiment and its anatomical structure (and proxemics); from the same survey the phenomenal nature and existential, and articulate new questions may arise and possible solutions. The core theme was focused on the investigation of cognitive SELF offer to a reflex that makes careful look: SELF from becoming that other indispensable to a redefinition of identity.
