The work is part of a series of large-size drawings that is a philosophical investigation on the concept of presence.
The medium is drawing (in its basic form -- charcoal on board) and the content/pretext is scotchtape.
The interest for scotchtape concentrates on these simple facts:
- it's one of those everyday objects which have the status of invisibility, it is so ordinary that nobody notices its shape, it is used but never seen;
- it is significant from a geometrical standpoint because it combines in one shape the 90° angle, the circle and the plane, drawing close to each other two archetipal figures that cannot be reconciled -- the sphere and the plane.
