L´Homme éclaté

L´Homme éclaté

Analogue Photography, Ideas, Abstract informal, Analogue, 240x80x10cm
The camera captures a moment which becomes an image; an image that models reality. I will take this image apart and turn it into a new, completely coincidental sequence and show that we make images out of moments; out of what we see and what we perceive.
The element water will be the tool of deconstruction. This element, already known as an analogous carrier, will become active. In so doing, the chemical layers that compose the negatives are softened. These start swimming in a closed receptacle and, one after another, are released from their carrier. The closed space will newly configurate itself with movement, giving itself to the entirety. This new configuration composed of the original image’s fragments becomes a new reproduction and thus offers a different view of reality.
