Je n'écrirai pas beaucoup de livres (Exhibition view)

This is an exhibition view of Room II at McClure Gallery (Montreal). The exhibition "Je n'écrirai pas beaucoup de livres" ("I won't write many books") regroups a large body of works made from a wide variety of materials, organized in several compositions framed by top and bottom neon lighting.
The centre piece, "Je pensais dormir sous mes couvertures" ("I thought I would sleep under my covers") is made of a studio chair and a sliced studio table on which all the unfinished works and unused materials (at the time of the exhibition installation) find themselves piled up in the middle of the sculpture creating the centre piece in this room.
