BERLIN REPUBLIC
Using a Fibonacci sequence, our world is shown here as a circular battlefield, littered with casualties: countless tiny figures that are walking, standing, kneeling, falling, but also working together and supporting each other. From a distance it looks like a collection of abstract dots but on closer inspection one discovers each individual figure in the crowd is an argument for the intimate importance of our presence in the scheme of life.
BERLIN REPUBLIC signifies the psychological affect on citizens emerging from divisions and reunifications of urban communities.
Each figure is unique, about 2 cm tall and cut by hand from black paper before being pinned to a wall.
