More and more frequently it would be necessary to stop and see what escapes
in the frenetic pace that life imposes. And too often it is not enough to stop
to realize the fullness of a fact, an event, but even a
detail.
We take here and there fragments that with hard work and a great deal of
energy reassemble like a puzzle in our minds, to make the point
a day just passed, or of a more or less significant.
Race, chase images, which in turn after us in a flow
abundant and for this difficult to sustain, for our memory,
for our processing capacity.
BADAMI also talks about this while talking about something else. He tells of times and
rhythms, intervals of days, including the day and night with
their rituals regularly marked by hours and minutes; tells us of the details that
longer count as identity, roots, human adaptation to situations more
different attachment and mutual aid. It tells us about it in fragments
so as to force the mind to linger, to fix, to examine without the excuse
a flow which sweeps everything away and leaves no time. Before the images of
BADAMI there is no escape, you look, you see. And you see people in their entirety by the details that
comprising: a passport photo, a pair of comfortable shoes in front of a mini-
stereo resting on the ground. You do not hear music, there is no movement yet we are certain to see those feet dancing, and the unseen figure over shooting
try emotion: desire or longing, who knows. What matters, what
erupts from the fixity only apparent, are the feelings, silent yet full
sound, silent and yet nuanced. A bike that is going to bring
who looks around and already feel the air on his face; a bedside table overflow
objects that you can smell the time of use; a tired face and hands
exploited.
BADAMI has the strength of a caress and the power of a machine
time: it slows to a stop as he continues to slide in front of the
our eyes. It 'a spell that reveals what lies behind the walls of a
apartment closed, what is hidden behind a face any of a
crowded passenger bus, a life, a past, a present and a
future, which are also related to other lives with a before and an after. what
inappropriately call anonymous but which are essential props
of a company.
