“Interference 41”: “This work is part of a series of works, at which I have been working for the last two years. I was inspired by George Orwell’s novel “1984” about the total control of the state on it’s citizens. I mostly paint women, who feel violated in their private sphere and observed by indiscrete eyes. In the course of time I painted more and more nude, in order to emphasise the vulnerability of these people.
