Following that one of the Sangro river that gives its name to his native valley, the course of the artistic life of Alessandro Fantini runs along the inner landscape of a poetic realm explored and mapped by nearly 30 years of memories, visions and melancholy captured on the living surface of his "multimedianic" artworks.
Among the "gullings surrounding the valley north as ancient buttresses" and the harsh clearing that borders the loops and bays of the river, the puzzles inhabiting the Valley of Blood are transformed into the oracles of a silent story told through the liquid hieroglyphics that supply the entire literary work, paintings, music and films of AFAN VAN SANGRE.
