To be or not to be

To be or not to be?
To be or not to be, as Shakespeare's Hamlet asked,
but what is the sense of our days, is still valid today?
I am because I am, or am I because I seem to be?
What is if I'm not, and what if I just dream and dare not one thing?

The sense of life is only opened up,
so meaningfully and in goodness we live our lives,
our being is not only breathing and poses,
we should help us and give, and note our next.

Significant things will emerge out of love,
so that our doing will survive our existence above,
only then we are, what we are to the world,
only then my life is a life that also counts for the next.

My being will be determined only by myself,
I'm going to win and live my life so forever,
and I will no longer ask the question of being or not,
I am because I am until the end of the days.

To be or not to be

Sein oder nicht sein, so stellte Shakespeares Hamlet die Frage
Doch auch heute noch gültig wo ist der Sinn unserer Tage?
Bin ich weil ich bin, oder bin ich, weil ich wirke?
Was ist, wenn ich nicht bin, und ich nur träume und nichts wage?

Des Lebens Sinn wird uns nur erschlossen,
so wir sinnvoll und in Güte unser Leben leben,
Unser Sein ist nicht nur Atmen und Posen,
wir sollen helfen und geben, unseren Nächsten beachten.

Aus Liebe und Einheit wird Sinnvolles entstehen,
so dass unser Wirken unser Dasein kann überstehen,
nur dann sind wir das, was wir sind für die Welt,
nur dann ist das Leben ein Leben, das auch zählt.

Mein Sein werde ich von mir aus bestimmen,
ich werde mein Leben für die Ewigkeit gewinnen,
und nicht mehr soll stellen sich mir die Frage,
Sein oder Nicht sein – ich bin weil ich, bin bis ans Ende der Tage.
