The textures of Federico Sarti represent some of the most telling result of expressive means' control, sequence's discipline and image's structuring. He does it through the use of materials, placing on canvas a geometrical grille of coloured strips which reflect with intelligence and awareness both the forms of the classical abstraction and the ones of the new decoration.
