The Great East Japan Earthquake on March 2011 and the resulting nuclear accidents has changed our way of thinking.
I realized the ordinary everyday things that I took for granted were not ordinary.
When we'll create new artworks, we can't let go of the accident and what happened afterwards.
Prosperity, collapse, natural, artificial, and things that are seemingly opposites of each other are connected deep inside.
(As there is prosperity, there is collapse. The artificial has been built above nature, but as time passes, the artificial will change back to nature).
These ideas can't be separated.
We are aiming to create art works that are viewing these opposing things not as enemies but as something to coexist with.
As time passes what we remember becomes unclear.
As more time goes by, our "facts"(a matter that happened) are introduced to other point of views creating new "facts"(a truth becomes a fact) in our memories, aren't these?
So what is the reality there? Is it the information we get? Or is it, rather, what we see with our own eyes?
Are those images truth or fiction?
What do we see and what do we remember? Did we really see what we did? Is that memory truthful?
By incorporating a time axis into still images, fiction is blended into the real world through these paintings.
It envelops the picture, as well as the viewer, retelling a story, and making us wonder "What is reality?".
Their influence on our human sensibilities in turn changes the world itself.

Poesia!! Scoperta e meraviglia ... Incantevole musica fusa con i colori e la luce... Un dolce ristoro per l'anima impolverata di nostalgia. Bravissimi. Grazie per questa magia.
