For the art world, modern technology is definitely a blessing. It has never been so easy to show my artworks to a wider audience, especially when the artist is working in Namibia. The interaction with other artists’ worldwide thanks to the new technology is vivid and inspiring.
Knowledge is available for free. - Actually nobody has an excuse to be not informed anymore. Pro & Contras can be considered and you just have to make your mind up.
Nevertheless, the new technology – Social Medias, Dropboxes, Clouds, What´s App also holds some danger which one must be aware of. - While the world moves closer together and new markets open almost at your fingertips, the man, is the Individual, becomes transparent. Personal and business data are collected, archived and analyzed for further use. Sometimes to improve apps but also for targeted advertising campaigns.
The use of language, especially in the younger generation is suffering ... it is much easier to express his feelings with the help of emoticons. Are there really enough emoticons yet to express all feelings?
