HALFWAY

i’m sitting here, thinking of what i’ve done
Did i make the wrong choices, the good ones?
Who can tell me which way to take
if i don’t know why i’m here
All these years into stardust
the universe will still be there
another Halfway, and promise,
i won’t mess up.

"Halfway" represents a life, at half its path (symbolic of 50 years with 50 tubes), it leads to the questioning: what's our place in the universe?, on what scale do we put our lives in question, do we have the conscience of the passing time compared to the universe? Each tube represents a year, symbolized by the cosmos to ridicule the notion of scale; infinitely small/big scale as a abstract and subconscient symbol of a human DNA.

The strap supporting the whole represents our path traveled through the good and bad track, passing through each year/tubes which awaits us again and again . We choose one and ignore the other, but it remains present to return thereafter to hold us in this eternal questioning of choices that will shape our lives afterward. As this life is not over, each arrow leading to re-propose again these eternal decisions that will change our future.
Sitting, as a way of reflexion, as a human turned into an materialization of an existential issue that marks our everyday life.
