Tao of Mandarin / Patient explosion

This is mixed media painting on bamboo board with over 7000 printed Chinese pictographs on the back wall and central insert with actual Gong and Bagua compass. It is dedicated to Chinese culture and one of its main philosophy of Tao (or Dao).
The endless patience needed to master over seven thousands of "simplified" Chinese pictographs. Probably, that endless patience gives explosion of multiple inventions that Chinese culture gave to the humanity: paper, printing, compass, porcelain, silk, gunpowder, just to name a few... Even building "Chinese Wall" the only man maid structure visible from open space, did not prevent China from influencing the world and getting the Western influence. As said in Taoism: You can not prevent the flow, since the Movement and the Change are in our Nature. On the bamboo table you can find few Chinese inventions: acupuncture model of human ear, tea pot, "Peking duck" serving plate, bust of poet and leader Mao, vase with dragon and chrysanthemums, traditional "food take-out" paper box, mandarin fruit used as food and medicine.
