THE LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY
This installation ephemeral character called "The Land flowing with milk and honey“ of the artistic proposal in experimental development of the series "The Natural Mystic Recyclable Energy I Found" raises, it is possible an awakening of consciousness from the sustainability ideas that art assumes in contemporary with the artists that have developed and develop their work in commitment to the facts of social transformation; from the ideas of environmental assessment that the spectators are transmitted stimulating mental and physical participation of their realities and environments through communicative logical ideas between natural materials, synthetic prefabricated and recycled where the current human energy It should be applied to rescue and conservation of natural resources.
This is an art installation whose concept deals with the spiritual, and more specifically the issue of the land promised by God to the ancient Israelites. From a theological point of view the pursuit of this promised land, is also the pursuit of love, life and peace every human being undertaken through faith, from birth until the end of a welfare state. In the play a semiotic wide spiritual recognition element associated with the people of Israel, as is the Star of David made of fertile land, on which 6 plates containing red and 6 white milk dishes containing honey comes unfold. The 12 plates representing the 12 tribes of Israel, the red represents blood, passion and pure white, while milk is the food that gives life and honey to tenderness, love and the fruit of labor group. The work is a source of literary inspiration the Bible, and more specifically the second book of the Pentateuch known as Exodus. In this book all the difficulties and despairs that the ancient Hebrew people faced in their long search for the promised land for his God Yavhe through the desert, showing a facet of God as liberator, sensitive to the cry of pain and narrated one people who are oppressed and enslaved by Egypt. This revelation of a God who does not tolerate oppression or injustice remains the permanent key, so that every human being struggles with faith and hope to achieve their own state of freedom and happiness, always with the approval, power and food spirit of God, as stated in verses 1 to 3, of chapter 33 of Exodus
"1 The LORD said to Moses: - Go, march from here with the people you brought from Egypt to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that I would give to their offspring. 2 ahead I'll send my angel to drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites; 3 to a land flowing with milk and honey (...) “
