Lapsus calami imago

Lapsus calami imago

"Laspus calami" means error due to the pen.

The term, coined during the Renaissance, was used for small oversights that could incurring the copyist in the transcription, indicating therefore a kind of clerical error.

The equivalent of the clerical error in the case of printed texts is the typo. Now you do not write nearly as pen and typo becomes voluntary and mostly virtual, it becomes imagination, imago keyboard and internal change.

This work, composed by 35 (from 300 overall) typos volunteers, wants to focus mainly on the social and political world through words rewritten, rearranged, ritemperate keyboard.

Photography, natural counterweight to the eye, dis / off by the words or perhaps the questions even deeper error and dell'omissis.

To err is human, to do so voluntarily is the path to the new humanism.
