Ivan Avilez is a Brazilian painter born in Rio de Janeiro on 14/12/1973 . After studying product design at the " Pontifical Catholic University " in Rio de Janeiro, at age 21, he decided to move to Milan, where he still resides, to study painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera .
Passionate about the human face, Ivan Avilez is dedicated mainly to portraits. Drawing inspiration from geometric shapes, colors, vibrations and nature creates effects in the background of his paintings .
The main feature of his work is the fusion of the subject with the space surrounding it .
