L'impotenza dell'onnipotenza

L'impotenza dell'onnipotenza

The work is a critique of the human desire of omnipotence , the desire to be superior to other men and to nature, the more ostentatious, superfluous. It 'a figure that rises far beyond their limits, their physicality and size to be trapped in a size that does not belong, which loses consistency, becoming almost ethereal and evanescent. It have not feet that are imagined anchored to the earth and at the same time with one arm is already sinking into the dark and empty. The breakdown of this contrast is a heap of fragments of mirrors that reflect the trampling too violent of an insatiable man and reflect what his will has created, or rather, destroyed. The block of resin-trap has the form of universal symbol of infinity; It is the paradox of the man who in his infinite greed for domination, has its end.The sculpture is reflective and it means that the viewer might be the subject of the work, looking himself in a mirror.
