Encik Perak Man
Perak Man is the name of the oldest known human remains found in Malaysia. In the series 'Encik Perak Man' (literally 'Mister Perak Man') young Malaysians are depicted cradling the skull of Perak Man in their arms. By simply juxtaposing the ancient dead with the young living, questions of national and collective identity are raised.
