The work, entitled "Everything Starts Today" describes the search for protection by a little Indian girl who is accepted by a goddess Phoenix that the leadership in the search for a new way to break free from the fear etched in his hand. By accepting of herself and body awareness through the energy centers of the chakras the girl realizes that the only way to remove his fear is to learn to forgive herself if she is to forgive others or event of his past that has generated such anguish.

The work proposed for this competition therefore addresses the issue of pain and fear which feelings can be addressed by human right through forgiveness.
Apart from the development of my painting titled "Everything Starts Today", I also chose the video medium and the illustrated story because it is in my opinion the one that returns too many mediations without the identity of the characters, where they in the music, the faces, expressions are inseparable part of their historical memory.
My painting and video with dreamlike narrative proposed for the competition Taboo 2015 inspired by a quote by a great man of our history; Nelson Mandela spoke these words: << "Forgiveness frees the soul, removes the fear. That is why forgiveness is a powerful weapon >>.
In my painting I tried to transfer my thoughts to create a world of fantasy and dream, where feelings and emotions, roam free, crossed by the power of dreams, and revealing the various facets of the female. In my work and representation of the dream vision becomes "therapy and the existence of the soul" that joins the observer to inner space inspiring them to immerse themselves in the worlds open to 'exploration and sharing of feelings and emotions.

Molto affascinante e profondo.
Hai ragione il perdono è un'arma potente, ma non è sempre facile, la strada per raggiungerlo non è lineare e a volte è in salita. A parer mio è necessario un grande cuore e la consapevolezza che l'odio e la violenza non leniscono le ferite e a volte ci consumano e ci inaridiscono.
