Installation, Political / Social, 300x2x100cm
The affirmation that with art we can not fill our stomach, contrasts with the idea that culture can be nurtured. A series of slices of bread emptied in the middle make up, repetitively, the phrase "art does not fill the sandwiches". A bowl full of jam invites the user to eat the work whose components can not be objectively filled. Born as part of one of the events linked to the Milan Expo, the installation is inspired by a sentence pronounced years ago by a famous Italian politician.
