The latest paintings of Piotr Krysiak are a result of a meditative painting practice. This slow and careful process, created in a concentrated atmosphere, makes the paintings emanate with a specific, subtle rivalry of light and dark. The paintings appear to be in constant vibration while myriads of seemingly separate particles make the presented content seem to be elusive, offering various narrative threads when viewed from different distances. The form reduced exclusively to black and white refers to the existing world that lies between 'is' and 'isn't', 'yes' and 'no'.
