Scandalo alla Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze

The work, largely wooden, comprises a support on which were applied plastic elements and architectural, crumbling walls and packed, arches three/ fifteenth Barbie containing silicone - like statues of the apostles in the niches of a church - in front of a statue Michelangelo's David, also modified. The assemblage does represent a cross-section of contemporary society in which the decline of culture, takes over the domain of eros and myths. In particular is a reflection, in an ironic and provocative, on the mass tourism that crowds the museums of the cities, often culturally unprepared on what it will do and therefore destined to a superficial and stereotypical of those masterpieces.
