This photo is part of "Lonely rivers flow to the sea", a project that has its origins in the search for, find and capture the beauty in the simplicity of the elements that make our daily lives. "Voluntarily excluded from shots .." - Silvia Sfrecola Romans writes - ".. the other reality, that you can not see or you don't want to see; they are always there". All elements that can "disturb" in some way hinder the search and "scroll of the rivers" are excluded: the syringes and condoms at the bottom of the cane thicket, the decay in the extreme periphery sunset, the pollution of the lake, ( ..).
The rivers - the individual reality, the photos - are understood as means to convey the emotions which are often experienced in an incomplete due to the path and taking what they absorb during the journey. The sea is the purifying force and catalyst that gives the essence, the joy and the immensity.
