Invisible

Invisible

A shape containing other shapes; overlapped and imposed materials, one to another, put together in a stiff body that in the daylight tries to be indistinct while at night, in the darkness come out to show its heart, its soul made of shadows, a puzzle of emotions in their intimate enlighting, little by little.
“Invisible” is a search for a shy and introspective dialogue between the artist and the world around him, followed by a dramatic and, at the same time peaceful approach towards what is really evident and what is hidden in all of us.
Through this last work he wants to express his need of freedom and truth still imprisoned in the shape, both phisical and intellectual, his mild rebellion against the social homogenisation to one side and the individual revaluation on the other.

The internal wire netting is covered in cotton white jute processed with stiffen matters like epoxy resin and vinyl glue. Lighting can be managed by a pot that handles the vertical led from which nine light mouths branch off, on their turn adjustable by three switches apart; this mechanism allows to select three by three lights.
The lighting sculpture is provided also with a on/off main pedal switch .
