Planet Skin

The skin as surface layer and coating surrounding the planet, is something like the human skin, the boundary between inner space and outer space, a diaphragm, a permeable layer where the union of earth water and air, connects the inside and outside.

As well as the signs of aging and traces of life that flows inside (veins, folds, wrinkles, scars...) appear on the human skin, the skin of the earth shows signs that the course of nature brings with it (tracks, paths , fractures) along with traces of activity in the subsoil and the effects of climate changes on the landscape shape.

This work, through the symbolic representation of the morphology of the planet's skin, wants to investigate the deep space that hide beneath the surface. It's an invitation to find out what's guarded under the appearances of the world and of ourselves: to go beyond the skin color as the first representation of ourselves and reveal beneath the surface the essence of life and the human being.
