Essence (The Skin That Is In Me)
Our own woman´s body holds all the answers. Sometimes, our vision is in zig-zag because it´s hard for us to discern between our own vision and the way we learned to see ourselves as social beings immersed in molds that were fabricated for us and that unsettle
us.
Some of my works ironically refers to the different models of conditioning of women around the world.
Slide through the skin we inhabit and become our own skiers. Against the prevailing stereotype, each woman´s body rebels in its own way, letting go, letting be. And it confuses us...
