Sincronicità

(Synchronicity)

Synchronistic events are based upon the simultaneity of two different states.

Everything in existence is touched by synchronicity, which through coincidence establishes the outcome of all events in: private life, social life, our work, our emotions etc.

In art this is no different. Chance and the emotional state can influence a artistic decision, governing the choice of one gesture rather than another.

We may be walking along a road heading toward a destination, when on dropping a bunch of keys, we stop to pick them up. This action creates a delay in time and space, so that once we resume our journey, we may come across things or people we may not have come across, had we not stopped.

The result, the cause of which may have escaped our attention, is an alternate path that allows us to compose our existence in a balance that is, purely by chance, in tune with everything.

In the artwork SINCRONICITÀ a series of bodies, figures, colours, signs and materials compete independently against one another, and at the same time they create an identity, a total picture of one instant in our lives.
