"Interference" the new project of Kirchmayr focuses on the phone, basically now dated instrument but in recent years technology has reinvented, making him become an indispensable companion of our existence. And the phone is the protagonist of this collection, not as an object in itself, how much and in what to be now the emblem of a communication as easy as invasive, certainly useful but most of the obsessive and sometimes superfluous: in proposing to our attention, Kirchmayr neglects the aesthetic effect and focuses instead on a number of interpretations that contextualize with textural supports, dark chromatically, where the texture of the surface becomes today's metaphor of existence, with its harshness, the contradictions, a thousand nuances that are reflected in a depersonalized relativism.

The artist gives no answers, but not immune to reflection and through paintings, installations and compositions creates a dialogue with the users in order to induce them - even subconsciously - to reflect, without pretending to direct it, but by helping them to reflect, to relive this communication tool as it was until a few years ago and like it is today, to become aware of what maybe has earned in easy to relate to, and how much still is lost on the side of authenticity, targeted use and aware.
The technical tool leads to a reflection on the existence as well, stimulating the reasoning about the meaning and values ​​that really matter in life.
