Josanne of Trinidad

This painting was commissioned by an art lover from Trinidad for his sister 60th birthday. He gave O. Yemi three pictures; one of his sister and each of his mum and dad. He instructed O. Yemi to find means of incorporate the pictures of his deceased parents in the portrait painting for his sister.
To tackle this project, O. Yemi presented the draft sample graphically to his client. He blended the images of the parents at the top the background cloud and the image of the sister below the images of the parents. This is to indicate that the parents are in heaven looking down on Josanne. This idea pleased the client and he gave his approval for the painting to go ahead.
